One-on-One
The idea of one-on-one personal training is not new—but our approach is unlike any other.
Our goal is to deliver a training experience that goes beyond the traditional idea of fitness, and not only improves strength, stamina, flexibility, and coordination, but also effects a positive change in every system on the body. We will educate our clients about the importance of balancing activity, rest, nutrition, work, and play.
One-on-One Training
In the typical session duration we focus on resistance training, cardiovascular and other fitness activities, as determined by your needs and goals. After establishing your personal fitness baseline, we will check in regularly to see progress. Additional one-on-one services include:
Postural Assessment
Because your posture affects virtually every movement, from sports to daily activities, this assessment can provide information about your postural balance and joint alignment, which we can use to develop a plan to enhance and strengthen your overall vitality.
This assessment includes:
- Movement Analysis: Observe primal movement patterns
- Plumb Line: Identify postural asymmetries
- Comparative Range of Motion: Test to find imbalances around specific joints
- Core Assessment: Assess your ability to stabilize the ribcage, low back and pelvis
Body Composition & Baseline Testing
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced athlete, realistic but achievable goals are important—and the only way you know you’ve achieved them is by starting with your personal baseline. We’ll check lean body mass, body fat percentage, hydration, and basal metabolic rate, heart rate and blood pressure. We can help you determine what your optimum levels are, and these will inform your fitness plan.
